2020 projects
A Tapestry of Stories: Wirral memories. We are recording the memories of Wirral residents with the hope that we can produce a book eventually. These can be voice recorded, written or emailed. contact us for more details.
Callister Garden Allotment
We have been lucky enough to secure a patch of land in Oxton to grow vegetable and fruit to create a soup in a bag project so that local women can have access to fresh, local vegetables and fruit. If you have a green thumb please join us on Thursday afternoon each week 1-4pm. Contact julie@wirralopp.co.uk for details.
2019 projects
Pop up shop
During February and March 2019 the parliament joined together with Methodist Housing and Wirral Cultural Diversity for a month of public engagement. We did this through a pop up shop in The Pyramids in Birkenhead. We offered signposting, craft activities and a chat.
Coffee Mornings
Starting on Friday 26th April, we will be open for a coffee and a chat drop in at 10 Bentinck Street, 10-12. These will take place on the last Friday of each month. Please note these are currently online each month until further notice. contact julie@wirralopp.co.uk for joining instructions.
Tranquil garden
OPP and Time to change are working on creating a calm garden area at the Bentinck Street office. We are looking for volunteers who can offer as little or as much time as they want to help out and enjoy the garden.
